Default A great argument for why CPA is the only way to go!

This didn't affect me as I wouldn't touch them after we as affiliates took it up the ass from the first move off their own network to iPoker and Europartners.

But now they've done it yet again!!

    2010-01-27 TonyG Poker Merger Notification
    Dear Affiliate,
Tony G Poker is undergoing a merger with Noble Poker. As a result, current Tony G Poker affiliate deals will not be carried forward by Noble Poker.

The merge with Noble Poker means that Tony G poker players will benefit from Noble Poker's fully supported poker room, providing players from around the world with a global poker room with many interactive features that will appeal to both the casual player and the pro player. As part of the merger deal with Noble Poker, Tony G will continue to run the Sunday Bike Ride, a popular bounty promotion, at Noble Poker.

Players will keep their same user names, passwords, and balances.

Noble will not pay affiliates for future revenue earned through current trackers (from the 1st February).

Unbelievable that they would screw affiliates yet again !!!

Wow, so TonyG dumps on all his affiliates to take a deal with PartyPoker - keep in mind this is the guy who runs PokerNews and also owns PAW - which means this guy is one of the biggest affiliates in the world doing this to other affiliates.

Would like to see AGD cover this personally.

WOW... thats ridiculous. I've always liked MGR but this kind of crap just scares me to death. Might have to look into CPA deals starting now!

This is absolutely pathetic. I feel sorry for everyone that's made this guy money and is getting completely fucked over here. AGD definitely needs to cover this.

I read it as "A great argument to promote major rooms that won't check out tomorrow"

Half these conky skins are run by degenerates with a backer turned rich from knowing how to be a degenerate. Nothing raises an eyebrow anymore. Unfortunately the price we pay to be in this industry. Doylesroom gets praises now about how great they are and they did the exact same thing.

This is confusing. Is he basically just selling Noble Poker the players that affiliates sent and keeping the money?

He merged Tony G with Noble. In poker affiliate terms, you get butt raped with no lube. A simple scummy way to profit off others work.

Sigh, yet another way to circumvent paying affiliates.

I guess many smaller rooms will be eaten up in this way in the future, giving the room that they merge in to a bunch of free players.

Not good when you consider the person involved in this, showing how money is more valuable than someone's ethics.
