Default How do you guys type currency symbols

I just thought of making a thread. I just did a 25 page website where all the content refernces £ as opposed to $. Forever my method has been copy and pasting £ a zillion time. Is there a better way to do this? Serious I'd LOVE to have a Euro and GBP key on my keyboard. If I added a third language to my taskbar would i get these keys. If so which language and what key does it match?
If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

I just use € , £ or whatever you need in dreamweaver once the article is up. You have to do it in code view, but it doesn't take very long. Once you have the first one, and if the page is all £ I will use find and replace to fix the rest.

press and hold the Alt key while you type 0163 on the numeric keypad for the £
Will this work in WP to?

Thanks, but I should of mentioned this too. I don't own a computer or a keyboard, i only use laptop and alt code is not compatible without number style keypad. At least none on the 2 dell laptops i have (which are totally different models).

I do often use dollar, copy and past the document into notepad and do a find and replace. I mean some pages I only need the pound symbol a few times but there are others where it is 20+.

Was just curious an easier way. For example do you guys in Europe have a pound and euro key on your keyboard. Right now my keyboard have two sets of characters on - English letters and Thai characters and in my task bar I can quickly change. Wondering if there is perhaps a method to add something like this where either I can toggle and have, or someway to make custom keyboard setting.

I write ALOT so any little time savers that help me not lose rhythm are very helpful.

I go to google.com, search for "euro sign" and copy the euro sign from the results

I've been to lazy to look for the official way.

BTW, works like a charm with the pound sign as well...

£ (has already been done but this one is done by the alt + 0163 ) . € <= done by pushing alt+ctrl+5 or right alt+5 . well $ is Shift + 4 and I also had a way to do the ¥ .. alt+0165 works every where. Also in this box I am typing right now.

You should use texter or autohotkey or something like that to quickly replace easy to remember combinations of keys with a £ or . Texter is especially awesome as I never have to type out whole passwords or usernames when logging in to see stats or whatever.
