Would love to hear especially from the more experieced people in this forum and mods!

    was it peice of crap?
Absolutely. First site was garbage, second site was still pretty terrible.

It was on proboards and I keep it open as a reminder of how far I've come. Its riddled with spam to ha

My first site was a poker site targeting my hometown and university.

The first template I had up there was absolutely hilarious looking, and every about the site was bad. Got some tips and a cheap template from a fellow PAL member and made it a little nicer looking. Then had the ON government send me a letter to shut down the site as it was targeting local keywords.

Rakeback - Poker Rakeback - RakeVIP.com was mine, it's in pretty sad shape right now lol.

I did well with it, got lucky and pulled some 25/50 guys right away who I've since lost as they blamed me for the Eurolinx debacle. Needs a lot of fixing up, I hope to get to it or sell it one of these days and move on.

    Utter garbage.

First site was on proboards and second on bravehost.
Think there still up, actually they are just looked at them but havent been touched in years.

3rd site got a little better after i figured out how to use dw instead of the yahoo site maker.

First site never made money, and looking at it now i can see why. Second site which was a forum actually did ok, again going back to look at it now, i cant see how it ever did. Took till the 3rd site to actually start making some decent income, and it just all grew from there.
I swear to ( insert God name ) If i get screwed by one more program in the US facing gaming business im going to go work for the DOJ and Make sure your hit next

and Lenny was the one who convinced me not to use proboards (thanks!)..had he not pushed it likely would have taken me longer to stop with the free site bit.

btw this is great motivation for new affiliates or I think so.

aintluck.com - wasn't monetarily successful when i started it as i focused on making customized poker table skins for rooms, and thought there was some decent info...initially got alot of traffic daily from people who had fulltilt or ap accounts and wanted to see the table skins...i also saw that many myspace users were using some of the layouts i made, note that this was in 2006 and alot of things have changed since then.

when i made it there was near 700 table skins which got me several natural links from some other poker blogs which was cool to see and a fulltiltpoker.com moderater even made a thread in their forum pointing to my poker skins page.

although i cant speak to its success now as i sold it several years ago and the design and content has been changed and expanded...

although they still have a few of the poker table skins, myspace layouts, and wallpapers i initially made, not all of the table skins though.
