Default Anyone who says there is no more opportunity to make money online is an idiot.

    Here's why:

    Source.

That's right. The total amount of searches worldwide grew 46% in the last year alone. Even a "saturated market" like the United States grew 22%.

There are tons of opportunities being created worldwide every single day. Don't believe anyone who tells you otherwise.

Thanks for that. Looks like I need to start targeting the French and Russian markets now, huh?

That rate of growth actually surprised me... on the positive side though! Russia certainly booming for Poker at the moment too.

Be careful of what and where the source data is retrieved from as they can give incorrect readings. However I agree that internet traffic has increased and this is down to better access, cheaper items to buy online versus offline as well as global reach in countries which had limited internet access before.

Take those numbers with a grain of salt. People search more for a variety of reasons, including that it is becoming increasingly more difficult to find older Websites in Google's search results. Many people use search as a site navigation tool and general purpose search engines are not very good at that, so searchers often reconfigure their queries or change search tools.

I'm not saying the tide has crested -- I'm just saying that those search market share numbers have been bogus for years. They're really only just counting page views and as people click through Google's internal links to look at all the Google-based content in search suggestions and such, they increase those pageviews without actually even searching more.

Also take into consideration that the workplace is evolving. Businesses and governements are more and more interested on social media as working tools. That means more people and more hours online. They're not necessarilly looking to gamble! hehe!

I don't know how significant this is in terms of data, but I expect that there will be a radical shift in the mindset of "how we do work" over the next 5 years, and that will mean a lot more online collaboration.

Even if these numbers are inflated by 2x or more, the main point is that there are more and more people coming online every year, meaning more and more opportunties, especially in non-English speaking markets.

Nobody said the internet is losing momentum, you just can't beat pokerlistings so making money can be tough if you decide that you want to try to beat someone like that at their own game.
