    Default Party 4Q Numbers

Just a short article, but one big thing stood out for me. Bingo revenue already 1/3rd of poker's total... starting to think I should have been listening to Greg a little more

    Thanks for the link Mark.

Not sure when Party introduced the "casino" and "sports" games to the party poker client, but I never noticed it when I was playing back in the day.

I think you can also play casino games whilst at the poker tables..

Maybe this has a big impact on their casino figures?

I just noticed this the other day in Party Poker you can actually bet on sports within their poker client. It actually brings up the party bets home page in the poker client window now.

Oh and yeah I think you can also click the BJ button when you're at a poker table and it brings up the party casino BJ window.

Those two things make me want to switch to MGR at Party Poker.

The way Party calculates casino/bingo/sports earnings on rev share is really odd.

    From their T&C's:

    PartyCasino.com, PartyBets.com, PartyBingo.com and Gamebookers.com

We calculate your 'MGR' from these Sites as the sum total of all of your RMPS' wagers on games within PartyCasino.com, PartyBets.com and PartyBingo.com multiplied by the 'actual win percentage' or 'theoretical win percentage' (depending on which applies to that particular game) for that game.
    Details on "theoretical win %'s"

What's so hard about giving us a share of the revenue that our players actually generate?

Hmm, my buddy who used to promote Party on MGR back in like 2005 was trying to tell me something similar to that not long ago... thought he was smoking crystal or something. Weird

Well the revenue growth in Bingo for PartyGaming is mainly the result of the acquisition of Cashcade (Foxy Bingo), which had revenues of 45M GBP in 2008.

Unfortuntately, PartyGaming did not disclose in their Q4/2009 financials what the effect of that acquisition was and what their organic growth at PartyBingo was.

Wow, I guess Greg knows something after all.

I've always been a big fan of MGR on any site that has all in one, but lately I've gotten hammered everywhere with winners.

I've sent a few dozen RMP's to one site and not earned a penny due to a couple consistent winners, my Bodog account is stuck at a few thousand negative, so I've been moving over to CPA a bit.

Thanks MJ (I think)! I'm sort of surprised that the numbers were so high on the bingo side, but some of it is due to the acquisition of FoxyBingo.

Honestly, so many people get the idea that there is no money in bingo. The games are short, the jackpots aren't too impressive (compared to casino) and people usually dont deposit more than $50. However, we joke about it all the time, people DONT EVER cash out. Seriously, think about it this way...
People are all about getting 'whales' under them for casino. Whales are guys who make huge deposits and dont usually ever cash out. However, sometimes these dudes hit the jackpot and your month is screwed. Bingo has whales also - people who deposit regularly and always take advantage of the reload bonuses. The difference is this; bingo players dont typically win enough to ever cash out and when they do it doesnt screw your whole months revenue.

Guys, I'm telling you. Gaming is the best affiliate niche to be in. Once your poker is solid really think about Bingo before the market in general catches on!

I think it is awesome. They remove the variance. How'd you like to play poker and get paid exactly your true ptbb/100 for every hand you play? UB does what you suggest and it blows. Several months I have had a $1k+ hit on my earnings (not my MGR - on my commission) because some player had a blackjack heater.

With Party's method you get paid whether they win or lose based on your true EV. With sports betting especially this is great because some people may be winning bettors. It is irrelevant for you as the affiliate.

With that said, I don't understand how I often have a negative number for my non-poker Party accruals. It is usually a small number, like -$25.84 or something, but I still don't get how it can be negative, and so often.

That is a little misleading. Most of that revenue is due to an acquisition they made, not from organic growth of the PartyBingo brand.
