But I have to tell you -that line across the top of the screen makes me want to hurt things.

I agree it has been bugging the hell out of me for some reason. If you scroll down just enouh so you can't see the top part, it looks much better imo.

Eduardo made a line like that on a project he did for me too, and the OCD in me has hated it every time I load it to upload stuff, lol...haha. Looks great though and the new design is pretty sicko indeed.

I hate to disagree, but...

I liked the old logo, and don't care much for the top right now.

I like the navigation bar.

So far I like it, I'm like a kid at a candy store when it comes to new web designs though. I live for this stuff. I think the 468x60 banner on top may be better as a 728x90 to fill up that space. I was so sick and tired of the old design.

The top isn't centered...it moves out as you expand and contract the browser....the forum is centered.

Need a fixed width for the header.

If I could suggest moving the outside left logo and right banner in the header to the middle more, it just looks awkward with them being outside of the main frame.

I am on a 23.5" monitor though, so what I am seeing might be skewed.

They are on AUTO for centering - they shift with the browser.

They need a fixed width.
