Personally I love their service and clearly it won't stay free forever. Maybe I am out of the loop but it is usually fairly obvious who is backing what project.

This is certainly no small task either, they have to be running a ton of virtual computers. For the last 8 months they have done nothing but bleed money and it looks like in good chunks.

I know this site redirects to it fizast.com and the whois is for a guy named Rudy Marsh. Other than that I have no idea.

according to Alexa, and I realize that doesn't mean much, they get about the same traffic as p5's atm. I think you can expect that to go up a ton.

In all seriousness, they have the IdleMiner banner featured quite frequently in their leaderboard rotation. Perhaps they're tied in with those guys in more ways than a straight media-buy or affiliate arrangement?

No data on Compete or Quantcast at the moment, they seem too new I suppose, as their Alexa figures only started recently and did spike quite well.

now the question is whether they're gaming that ranking somehow or if their site has gone viral enough to draw in the users

Their traffic there is nowhere near that of pocketfives (unlike the Alexa data)

They show 5500 people compared to P5's 42K
