I'll start.

I bought a bunch (maybe 50) of good cheap Spanish translations about a year ago that I still haven't posted. I blame it on the fact that I'm American and hate the rest of the world (especially those dirty Aussies) and I don't want any stupid international traffic. I tried to find them about a month ago to finally put them up and I think I lost them, but I'm too lazy to try hard to find them, so I'm starting this thread instead. Fail.

I had a conversation with a friend who was interested in getting into the affiliate business, and he was interested in doing tickets sites. I came home that night a bit under the influence and purchased over 600 domains related to tickets for like a zillion different events. That's just a portion of them listed above. That's with absolutely no research on what the market would be like for that, no keyword research, no tests sites, nothing. It was basically beers/other substances->ideas->buy a million domains.

And of course we didn't end up developing them because "Woah dude to make money online I have to like....do work?".

I forget to put affiliate links on pages. Over a month went by on one site and was thinking wtf why doesnt this page convert..Cant get signups if you have no links.

Aussies and other countries such UK and Ireland can't help it they were born where English is not spoken properly and the intelligence levels are rather low. Cut them some slack I'm sure if they could of chosen they'd of chosen to been born in America but of course didn't have that choice.

My biggest and stupidest mistake:

De-indexing my entire strategy site when switching to wordpress. Forgot about that little "make my blog available to search engines" option.

When setting up my first split test I let it run 1 week before I realized that I forgot to set up the tracking after I copy-pasted the affiliate links, so only half the conversions were getting tracked.

I did this 3 times...
