    Arrow How Do you Rate the PokerStars Affiliate Program?

    In my opinion Pokerstars Partners is one of the worst managed affiliate programs in our industry. There are countless threads on the major gambling affiliate programs containing issues ranging from minor to severe. Here is a brief list:

    * Emails that never get answered - Very common
    * Extremely long email response times - Almost guaranteed
    * Late payments
    * Low quality backend
    * Unacceptable payment options
    * Low compensation
    * Unprofessional responses from AM's regarding serious issues

    Needless to say there are many other issues but I do not have the time to list them all. The problem with Pokerstars Partners is that the upper management at Pokerstars not know how incompetently the affiliate program is being managed. The recent iGB affiliate conference awards are a good example. There have literally been hundreds of complaints about Pokerstars Partners and their employees on the major affiliate forums. It seems like noone at Pokerstars Partner takes their jobs seriously. Why do they still have their jobs?

    I am hoping to solve these issues once and for all with this poll. All you need to do is answer honestly. This isn't just about the recent unethical CPA requirement change which cost most affiliates a majority of their revenue. This is about the Pokerstars Partners affiliate program as a whole. You do not need to fear having your affiliate account closed by answering honestly. Since this is a poll the votes will be anonymous.

    Regardless of how the results turn out I am hoping that Jeremy and the other leaders in our industry will reach out to their contacts at Pokerstars and inform them of this poll. The more people at Pokerstars who are aware of this growing problem the better. If you do not have any contacts at Pokerstars you can send an email to support@pokerstars.com and have them forward it to the poker room manager. Here are a couple of other contacts that may be able to help, or at least make sure the right people know about these issues:

    You left out the single most important thing though. They convert better for general poker traffic than any other poker site - at least in my experience.

    Stop thinking about how much you get paid in percentages or per CPA or whatever and break it down into unique visitors to your website or page impressions for banners - I guarantee you Stars will pwn basically every other program.

    Not saying that you're wrong overall, but that has been far from the case in my experiences. Full Tilt, UB, and AP make me far more than Stars used to, in the same positions on my sites.

    Same. I wouldnt be happy right now if my Signups to Qualifiers were actually Clicks to Qualifiers, that's how bad the scenario is.

    Some sites convert at 1 qualifier per 10 clicks, Pokerstars right now isn't 1 qualifier per 10 signups.

    Carly...lay the smack down! We want to promote Stars but simply can't on these ratios.

    Number of qualifiers and clicks and signups are not what matters - how much money you make per unique visitor to your site is what matters.

    If Stars is now performing worse than other sites in this regard for many people then maybe I am wrong.

    I think you are wrong then. I agree with everyone else. Pokerstars converts very much more poorly that several other programs.

    Why did we turn the "edit" function off completely?

    lol thought it was my computer or something. I second this motion. Please to be re-adding edit button.

    Regarding Stars, I suppose I stand corrected. I'll throw up some other banners and see what happens.

    I emailed Carly about a week ago and no response, so I voted very poor as that was the last good thing they had going for me (Carly usually responded in about 48 hours).
