I have decided that I'm going to be attending The IGaming Supershow this year. After speaking with Alex and having gone to all the shows in the past, I am convinced that this will be one of the premier shows to be at this year, especially for poker affiliates
Although that doesn't mean I might not sneak over to Amsterdam for a couple days.....
One of the things I think that has lacked at all these shows in the past is that there have not been enough sessions strictly for poker affiliates. Too many of the sessions are just too general for those of us that are strictly poker. So with that I am working with Alex and will be coordinating a Poker Affiliate Summit. This will run during the same time as the show, but instead of being a 30 minute session. I'd like it to be a full afternoon.
During this summit I also don't want to talk about the same boring stuff, watch presentation after presentation, or here sales pitches. I want to get a large group of poker affiliates where we can have a good group discussion on all of the hot topics in our industry. Hell I'd love to invite some programs to a panel session for friendly Q&A, if they would show up. I would also like to get one of the CEO's from the top poker companies to do a Q&A with us to discuss payment processing, legislation, etc. It's always nice to get the views from those at the top.
In a perfect world we could have a few different panels to discuss the biggest issues going on in our industry and potential future developments. have full audience participation. If you're looking to hear why banners don't convert as well as text links, you can find that in another session.
Anyhow, I can guarantee you that if there is any "session" at any show you will want to attend this year, this will be it.
Gimme some topics, speakers, and ideas that you guys would like to see at this Poker Affiliate Summit. If you can do that for me, I'll line up free beer at the end of the session with hot scantily clad women serving it.
Thanks guys & gals. I'm very excited about the opportunity to bring something like this to our industry.
