A question about Answers!

I've just been playing around with Yahoo! Answers.

I was assuming that if you typed in a URL, then the link would automatically become active when you submit your response (it was certainly active when I previewed my answer anyway!).

However, the answer has come up and my link has appeared as just plain text while someone else's link is clickable.

Do I need to do something special before submitting an answer to ensure my link is clickable too?

If you want the link to be clickable you have to put it in the source section not the answer section

I've put it in both (I'm nice like that) and neither are clickable.

Ah, I didn't realise there was a points requirement.

If I remember correctly, links that you post aren't active to you, but ARE active to others. Try logging out and seeing if its active.

Nope, that's not it either.

Maybe I need to wait until the question is "closed" or perhaps it's only links in the best answer which are active ...

You need to be a certain level. I use to pay somone of a high level to post for me... works very well with movie lock sites thats for sure.

I'm lvl 2, my links r active. I'm not actually sure if it's just my best answers or all of them.

Just found out for sure. You need to be a level 2 over 249 pts for your links to show
