Even with Canada favored by 1, I will bet all the Canadians straight up, no spread, that the U.S. wins.

And the losers have to have a picture of the winning team as their avatar for a week?

So if anyone wants in on this avatar bet, just post which team you're rooting for and you are in.

5-3 Canada solidifies it with an empty netter on a shitty bounce over the stick on one of the US players trying to hold it in with the 6th man on. If I had to pick the player, I'd have to say Perry or Getzlaf.
