How Many Sites Do You Run On Shared Hosting?

I'm getting ready to setup some more poker sites that will be optimized cms setups with databases that will probably not exceed 100mb per site for a while.

I'm wandering if some affiliates here might share information about the largest number of sites they've been able to employ via one shared hosting account.

lets say that i would like to setup 5-7 poker sites that will theoretically average 75-100 visits per day each and the sites will be using an optimized cms setup. This will be on "just host" which i've been pretty satisfied with, but have not experimented with setting up multiple database driven sites on one shared account.

Is this okay? How many sites have some of you been able to setup on one shared hosting account while maintaining decent performance? I'd like to hear stuff from users who are bad at setting up performance optimized sites as well as users who are good, basically anyone is invited to share some info if they like.

I mainly want to setup the sites because i have a handful of decent domains i've neglected and would like to get them indexed, aging, and do some link building for future use or sale.

Currently my alternative plan is to direct the domains to blogspot accounts where they will be able to age and start to get traffic but i'd like to have more on-page seo url structure control, and better file management abilities that comes with administering a site via a cpanel.

thanks but thats fairly vague, i would like to hear from experience what the largest number of sites someone has ran via one shared hosting account.

would love to hear from alot of the users here who use wordpress.

I have run some 50 sites without issue - mostly WP.

It really doesn't matter imo, you are sharing with very aggressive webmasters, I've done ip checks on shared hosting accounts and have seen as many as 20,000 sites on a single IP address.

i have 2 shared hosting with 2 different hosting company.

hostnine < i run about 32 sites ( none gambling)
hostgator < i run so far 8 sites ( none gambling)

And i run all of my gambling site on a re-seller hosting at A1 Web Hosting Solutions,Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed,Headache Free Web Hosting
15 or 16 sites been 5 years without any problem.
