I have written a program and I can message over one thousand people a day on facebook easily, and I also make good videos on youtube. What should I be promoting? Keep in mind I am fairly new to this online affiliate game.

If you want to make big money. Porn!
Are you serious? and if so how could that work seeing how im sure theres tons of porn advertisers already, plus all the free porn like redtube.com etc
The rakeback and poker market in general is just as saturated as the porn market, only porn makes ten times the money. Personally, if i was just getting into internet marketing now, with the knowledge that i have, i wouldn't touch either of them. You'd be better off selling random clickbank products. I've got friends who put in a fraction of the effort that i do, and make over 15k per month writing ezine articles on random things such as bad breath, with affiliate links back to clickbank products.
What would you do if you were me seriously
Are you using the word seriously because you think that i'm joking, because i'm not! It's not like you'll be messaging targeted traffic on facebook. How many of the people you message are going to be interested in poker, in relation to the amount that are going to be interested in sex? If not porn, how about marketing how to become more attractive, or how to loose weight? Stuff that alot of facebook users might follow up on. Seriously, there are clickbank products for everything.
I also think i'd start with something other than rakeback. you can always transition into offering rakeback.
Buying all kinds of sites - poker/casino/sports/non gaming. Large budget. PM me with what you've got.
lol, there is absolutely no way that the poker affiliate market is as saturated as the porn market.
But for what you are doing, targeting the poker clientele will be difficult. I would do something more universal.
Pokerextra's is right, 1000 people on FB to market poker to probably isn't going to translate into anything substantial (if anything at all). But to answer your question more directly...
Like anything else, you should be looking to be diversified. Many of us have learned the hard way, you never want to put all your eggs in one basket. Getting some CPA's will give you more money upfront to reinvest in your business, and MGR at reputable rooms with poker/casino/sportsbooks (all-in-one sites) isn't a bad idea either. In theory you should make more money on MGR than CPA at well known all-in-one sites that have good player retention, but you don't get as much up front. Having a larger amount of money upfront will help you develop your sites faster, and make more money in the long run. Also, with MGR you take on more risk of T & C changes than if you're on CPA. CPA is guaranteed money right now. There is value in that.
If you were doing RB with FT, you'd be pretty upset right now. T & C's are constantly changing (almost never to the aff benefit), and the more rooms you promote the better. I think it's a good idea to at least be getting some CPA's along the way while you wait for your RB business to grow.
If all you're gonna do is market to FB people, I wouldn't waste my time. I'd find something better to do with my time like go look for nickels at the grocery store parking lot. If you're gonna build and market sites though, diversify.
A really smart guy here once said something that made me focus too much on one room. He said that it was a good idea to market fewer rooms and funnel more players to fewer sites to hit CPA tiers easier. While I think this guy is right about 90% of the time, he was wrong on this. When you put too much time into just a few rooms you leave yourself open to being hurt more if one of those rooms changes the T & C's against you (like they always do). So imo, you should think about being as diversified as you can.
