Tracking Keyword Rankings

Does anyone use any tools to track keyword rankings in the major search engines? It seems like there are a lot of free and paid tools out there that you can use. No idea where to start or what to look for though.

Also, are these tools a little redundant now that Google has implemented the whole custom search results thing? Or in general are they still decent for tracking upward and downward ranking changes?

I use the free version of Traffic Travis to track the ranking of the KWs for my two main sites (for more than 2 sites, you need to upgrade to the full version). The tool is quite good.
