Titan Poker promoting PokerListings on their homepage

I was checking out Euro Partners links on my sites and noticed that there's a huge banner on Titan Poker's homepage promoting a PokerListings bonus offer. Of course PL have a better bonus offer than most of us so I guess that after we do all the hard work of sending a potential player to Titan, PokerListings will get the credit and the money instead of us.

Now that's a nice way of treating smaller affiliates.

I didn't see anything to do with Poker Listings on either Titan's homepage or Euro Partners. I did notice that Titan has a new, but very slow-to-load site design.

Edit: I just noticed your picture - I didn't see that at all...maybe it's geo-targeted?

Have you visited TitanPoker.com right now? Am I the only one seeing this? I don't only see it when I click on my affiliate links but also when I type Titan's URL directly in my browser.

Mmm, that's strange. I'm currently in Belgium, maybe it's geotargeted like you said. Still, that's not very nice for other affiliates.

Certainly, but that must have been a very long time ago

Anyway, it's gone now so I guess they were just doing some testing. At least we got a paparazzi pic of the next PokerListings advertising campaign.

I think you just ran into a custom landing page thanks to cookies on your machine. I just visited Titan and did not see the banner.

its cookie related, titan simply now has implemented the most advanced affiliate landing page setup.

After you've visited the room through the affiliate, every returning time, you will get their landing page as long as the cookies are there and it will always be seen as titanpoker.com rather than titanpoker.com/landing/affiliatesitename or whatever

this is an amazing setup. If a player comes to your site and visits the room through you, every time they go back to the room site while the cookies are there, it will appear that you have a big spot on titanpoker's homepage, meaning more opportunity for a player to revisit you're site.

additionally, the landing page actually represents titans normal site setup, only with a primetime affiliate banner setup in it.

this is an example of a landing page setup that is truly helpful to the affiliate in more ways than just branding.
