There's a domain that i want which is currently registered. There is a site on it, but it's obviously unused. There's no contact facility on the site, so how do i find and contact the owner to buy the domain?

Did you try checking Whois?

Thanks. I googled who is and ended up on a totally different site than that one which gave me 0 information. I found the owners through who is, found out that the domain was for sale on sedo, then found out that the minimum bid is $50k so forgot that domain very quickly.
50k?....what's the domain?
Something that i'm about to start targeting so i'd rather not say![]()
I think sedo.com is very good for that. You can let them even do the negotiations - and it conceals your identity which helps to keep down the price sometimes.

I personally think that your right here, my partner recently bought a domain that was worth (in my opinion) high $xx,xxx for low $xx,xxx.
Although it totally depends on the seller, i saw a domain that i liked on there and the guy was asking $20,000 minimum bid with his price for sale a lot higher than that.
I find it hard to value a domain that has limited traffic and within the gaming niche (low PPC revenue) very hard to value at that sort of value, for me the domain was worth little more than $4000.![]()
