Site Hosting

I usually register my domains with godaddy, and the last couple of sites that i've built have used them for hosting as well. Is there a better option? Does anybody know of a private host/server that can be trusted that i can point my domain at? I'm planning on running a totally black hat experiment that i don't think godaddy will take too kindly to.

For domains I switched from Godaddy to Hostgator to Name.com

Name are cheap, have regular coupon codes and also have free private registration. By far the best imo.

For hosting cant help im afraid.
