You can now submit articles to CardTricking.com (useful ones only , please) Here , with calls to actions , affiliate links and even links back to your website... it's your own page , and your own share of cardtricking ...

It's doing very well in the SEO although it's very young , and got first page in yahoo for "learn how to play texas holdem" #7 to be exact.. although it's not very WOOW!! .. but it's on the right path.

I expect PR2 on the next Google update.

nice to see another joomla user, although i think its illegal to inject pseudo sig links into posts on this forum.

also, you're site loads super slow, i'd turn off you're javascripts and unload the default joomla loading of their .js files in header. that way you can keep alot of the formatted styling within your site and not kill load times. Alot of things on your site serve no real practicality or have any conversion power.

also keep in mind, that although you've added alot of cool joomla add ons, the setup and urls are really sloppy and it would be hard for you to sell this site in the future if you build it to an unmanageable amount of content that can't be correctly restructured without a ton of hassle and 301 redirecting.

its already hard enough on this forum to sell a site to someone without it being a wordpress setup.

The hosting is what to blame not me .. but I think seriously in moving to another one .. that is about slowness ... but is it really unstructured !? you may see a mess in the front page , google loves that ..but the content is ordered in sections and in categories inside sections ...
anyway , what do you think about the overall looking and content of the website !! if you were to begin learning poker , would you find this website useful !? maybe bookmarking it and sharing it with friends ?? let me know what do you think ....

yes those nasty links ,,, I can not spot them or from where to modify... Joomla is a real pain if you ask me

Edit : the cardroom link is fixed now ..
it was an error caused by a malfunction component in joomla ....

no, if i was a newb who wanted to learn poker i would probably read wikipedia and get a headache,

then find youtube videos, then after finding tons of junk on the web, eventually end up on the fulltilt poker academy site which has lots of good video tutorials and sessions with pros.


...and yes, your site is slow largely because of all the .js, images, and formatting on it

are you using sh404SEF ?

no, i'm using just turning SEF on in the configurations. I don't see a difference except auto adding meta tags and keywords which are useless these days

sh404SEF is a joomla addon that improves url structures. but you have to be careful with addons because not all of them will work with sh404sef. Most addon's are not beneficial to an affiliate site anyways.

the ones that could be for this site, some of the new CCKs, seyret video, kunena forums, are compatible with sh404sef

Yeah , that is one of the reason I preferred not to have sh404SEF on my webesite
