Joomla & Mambo

Wondering if anyone uses either Joomla or Mambo? Are they the same? How easy are they to use/modify?
I've found a really nice Mambo template that would suit a new site but have never used it before and there doesn't seem to be much recent activity or support on the net.

Mambo is like the Joomla 1.0 that refuses to die. In the long run, you will be better off with Joomla vs mambo in terms of support, updates, pluggins. Depending on what modifications you want, it can be as easy as using a plugin, or requires some code editing. In general, it's a fairly easy product to use, but there is an initial learning curve to get over.

I changed a few of my sites over to Joomla! last year. Glad I did as it expedites blog updating and other people adding content. I also find it superior to WP for SEO purposes.
