Is anyone using this tool? I've read some really positive reviews about it and was wondering if anyone had experience using it in the gambling vertical.

The kind of data Crazyegg is very useful, but I prefer ClickTale.
ClickTale
Good: Give you recordings showing how your visitors move the cursor on your pages.
Good: Free trial.
Bad: Expensive.
Crazyegg
Good: Cheap
Bad: Doesn't have the fancy cursor movement "videos".
If you are going to spend a couple of hours looking things over once a month, Crazyegg is probably the best choice.
If you on the other hand spend a lot of time analyzing the behavior of your visitors, ClickTale is definitely the better choice in my opinion.

I havent seen anything else out there as good as clicktale and yes people are gonna say its $100/mth but if you can increase your conversions its the best $100 a month you could spend

I'm not great with testing and I've not really tried CrazyEgg or ClickTale. I'm afraid that I'd set it all up but then waste time browsing over the information out of interest and never really conduct any tests. Lord knows I waste enough time as it is.If you on the other hand spend a lot of time analyzing the behavior of your visitors, ClickTale is definitely the better choice in my opinion.
Do you have any hypothetical examples or ideas for what you would use something like CrazyEgg or ClickTale over Google Website Optimizer and click tracking to test conversions? What tests would I be able to conduct with these tools that I couldn't conduct with GWO and tracking clicks?
I'm struggling to come up with a worthwhile hypothesis (if that's the right word in this situation) to test with something like Click Tale. I'm not suggesting it's not useful, just that I have no idea of what I could do that would make the cost worthwhile.
Greg check out the heatmaps and the video recordings. The biggest thing I learned with CT is that where you think a visitor clicks isn't always where they want to click. You see how they see your pages and watch what the mouse does. That's huge I think because your able to test and see if your ads would do better in certain spots, if your pages should be broken up more, if users are scrolling your page or just looking at the top bit and hitting the back button.

This is huge!
One of the first times times I watched ClickTale recordings I ended up yelling at the screen because people searching for "download poker software x" were scrolling right past a big box on my site saying "click here to download poker software x".
@Greg
By watching ClickTale attention heatmaps (I think Crazyegg has those too) I'v just learned that some text at the middle of one of my pages is getting a lot of attention.
I can use that information to
a) add calls to action specific to that information.
b) change the title of the page, so it will get more clickthroughs from the SERPs, because it will grab peoples attention.
c) run ads using text from that section to grab peoples attention.

Just wanted to bump this. Another tool I've been looking at is GetClicky. Similarish to anlaytics but seems to be a nicer way of organising everything and tracking data. anyone experience with this?

I am impressed but also scared, what the hell. Recording such stuff seems very intrusive to me. I definitely don't want webmasters to see what I type into a box before I decide to submit it.
