Contact/Partner/Relationship Management Software

Please post your best software solutions here. I need to organize and segregate my contacts better, hopefully integrating some relationship management aspects to the data. The best tool I know of has to either be a custom database or buzzstream.com. Let that be my contribution here, buzzstream does cost money (about $30/month) but it is top notch for link building and monitoring... just a little weak on the contact organization side for my purposes. Im also hesitant to really start a new venture and build a crucial foundation around a software program that might not be around in 2 years... something like microsoft access or even outlook have advantages in this regard.
