SOme advice regarding Fulltilt Rakeback.

I have my own player account from years ago on FT i play with. Recently I decided to play limit mid stakes Omaha HI LO a few hours a day. I like the game and know some good rake would be made.

I know for sure i never signed up with an affiliate as i make it a habit to sign up directly in most cases.

I contacted FT to ask for them to change me to a rakeback account. A freind of mine did this last week and he was shipped over to RB Pro.

He makes about $100 week paid directly to him.

In my case FT refused and said i cannot ever get rakeback with my account.

So essentially what they are telling me is if i ever want to play on FT it will never be Rakeback.

They will not close my account and allow a new one. And will not change it.

Will not even contact the affiliate ( i know i didn't sign with one) to infrom him i want rakeback.

Does this make sense?

Anyone else ever get their account changed from a regular account to rakeback?

I can not understanding why FT is being such an azz.

Had the same problem with them and I'm 1000% sure I didn't sign up with an affiliate because there were no real money players when i registered.

Yeah I have heard others as well say the same. Funny thing.

My friend who got it last week - we both signed up days apart back in 2005 or 2006 i recall.

He showed me the site :-)

Oh well - as far as I am concerned I will just play somewhere else where they care about retention.

Funny part of it is - We all lose.

I lose since it has the games I want and traffic, FT loses the rev I would generate at playing 5 10 limit Omaha Hi Lo. (Multi tabling).. and the so called affiliate loses any sort of revenue from me now.

I will never log into Fulltilt again.

I cant say i wont promote it to my players since its still a decent site but then again its hard to promote a site that disgusts me to no end.

Like eating a rotten banana!!.

I know for fact they are lying anyways - I know like you without a doubt I never signed up with an affiliate.

Oh well - Kinda disappointed in them - i thought they were much better than the rest..

Yeah nothing really new. Your only hope is to signup at RakebackPro's and if you are not tagged to another aff or were on some CPA deal then you will eventually get rakeback.



I will say that I had a player manually added to my FT rakeback account in FEB - it was really odd as I've never known them to do that, and I did not request he be added to my tracker. So they do weird things sometimes But overall yeah most players will either dump their accounts or never play there.

Yeah thanks guys for the comments. I agree - I just will not play there again.

They even refuse to tell me who the affiliate is I supposedly signed up with. And also refuse to contact them on my behalf.

Proof for me they are lying once again :-)

They told me the rakebackpro deal is only a test. That they are testing it with only a select group of players :-)

It's none of your business, and... given what you wrote, it seems likely that there is no reason to believe it anyway.

Two things.
One, you probably had an affiliates cookies attached from previous browsing when you signed up direct to tilt, so you're still tracked to an affiliate. If you want to be sure though, even though they won't name the affiliate, they will tell you the bonus code you used, so you can google that to try to find the affiliate.
Two. As was previously mentioned, i'm sure that your family members aren't currently signed up at tilt.

Yeah it seems plausible that maybe while surfing sites I picked it up via a cookie. Could be the case.

They reason for wanting to know is simple. I could contact the affiliate and ask him if he could talk to FT on my behalf.

Even if he is a non rakeback affiliate - they could possibly have a seperate tracker for these special cases where active players want to play on RB.

I make it a habit that any players I have - they are welcome to know i am their affiliate at all times. Since i make money from them - its my job to make sure they know how to contact me at all times.

About a year ago I had a player who wanted rakeback on my Ft account. I contacted FT and they said i could transfer them to my PAS tracker or set one up and pay player directly.. as i recall.

But at any rate some family could learn the game!! LOL
