Appraising Domain Name Values

Is there any formula for doing this or can anyone point me to a noobs guide to buying gambling domains. I've been trying to invest in some premium domains recently and I have absolutely no idea how I should be valuing some of the names I've been offered. Some of the prices I've been quoted seem abolutely bananas.

Anyway to give me an idea maybe people could give me some input on what they would value these domains at:

OnlineBlackjack.org
CasinoBonus.com

Don't take this the wrong way... but I will say it anyway.

Instead of asking for appraisals of specific domains you don't own, I think it would be better to get advice on the criteria for valuing a domain. The reason I say this is because I don't think its fair on the owners of the domains. You will get appraisals on their names from people who aren't necessarily expert domainers, then you will approach the owners and no doubt link them to this thread. You will have a perceived value on the name which may be way off the mark. At the end of the day its worth what your willing to pay for the domain.

I'm not looking to buy those domains. They are just random examples of generic exact match domains that I'm curious about. I have no idea about those sites/domains (dont know which they are). It was more to get a general idea on how to value such domains as I think the 3 above are easy to compare other names to. Eg BestPokerSites could be OnlinePokerSites or BestPokerBonuses. OnlineBlackjack could be SlotsOnline or OnlineRoulette etc

Just what I would hope to pay. If it came down to it I would probably pay a little more for each of them, but that is a general range.

Market forces - those are the prices (generally speaking), that people are willing to buy and sell those type of domains at.

But without having an intimate knowledge of market prices for similar domains, is there some kind of loose formula that can be applied based on searches or something?

That's pretty much what I'm getting at. I guess it's some combination of exact searches, conversion potential of the domain, market demand and possibly some other domain factors such as age, penalties etc that may influence the pricing.

That said, I'm still at a complete loss when trying to value most domain names.
