WP Newsletter Plugin

I'm looking for a newsletter plugin or a plugin that will simply capture email addresses and store them, whilst updating the visitors of when I make a new post. I need to be able to use these addresses with Aweber later down the track.

Maybe I'm talking about a couple of different things... Having it a a WP widget for my sidebar would be very handy.

I've looked around but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Has to be compatible with WP 2.7. Any ideas?

I use E-mail Users - you can set it to e-mail them whenever theres a new post, and you can do it manually too rather than automatically if you want.

Note that if your email list isn't double opt-in, and contains unmaintained data (people sign up with fake emails ALL the time to catch single opt-in lists and report them as spammers), Aweber will not accept your list.

I have a list of 11,000 emails on one of my sites, and Aweber wouldn't accept it. And if I try to email to it, my domain will probably get black listed. So it's pretty much useless.

This plugin is just for emailing current users right, not for capturing the email address to begin with? Would be handy if I could get something I can add as a widget in the sidebar as well...not a big deal though.

Need something like a subscibe to blog updates, where they put their email address in and then they receive in email saying the blog has been updated.

Maybe I'm looking for two different things?

You could use an RSS feed, and put that through Feedburner. Then you can have people sign up to your feed via email, and when your feed is updated, they will receive that update. You can set it to how many times it will send - either every time the site is updated, every 10 times, etc.

I want the subscibe by rss with the subscibe by email below it. To begin with I only want to send emails about blog updates, so I dont want to purchase aweber.

Ive set up a feedburner account but I am unsure where to go from there, in terms of coding into sidebar etc and setting it up and getting it to look like that guy.

As you can tell I'm not much of a coder
