Flash Games Conversion Rates?

I know there are quite a few people on here that use casino flash games on their sites. Say you have a page about a specific slot machine or a page about playing Blackjack or whatever are you finding these flash games are helping your conversions or are people just sitting playing them and then leaving?

I haven't got any large amounts of traffic to these types of pages yet so no raw data but I'm guessing extremely low. You will need to do a great job with calls to action surrounding it, and that would help I"m sure - probably safe to say better than a banner and not as good as a text link but a proper combination of all the above should work well.

I see these as more of something for usability/stickyness rather than conversions - but maybe someone with actual data will comment.

I kinda figured that might be the case. Even if someone clicks through to play the free game atleast they've been tracked.

This. Unfortunately you can't rely on the flash games themselves converting - they just don't do a good job of it. Some do no calls to action at all. I remember ones a few years back that were really good - they would congratulate you when you won and invite you to play for real money, and offer bonuses while you play. I also think they were rigged to allow the player to win which from an affiliates of view is obviously

I've had a lot of luck with the "Play For Real" button I have in the frame I have around the embedded game - see here for example:
