    This could be fun...

I want to challenge anyone and everyone here.

The idea is to build a site (non gaming) from scratch, with a freshly registered domain name.

Whoever has the most success wins. We will define success later.

If there is any interest...we will discuss rules, guidelines and of corse there would be a bet involved.

    Who is up for it?
If you need Casino Reviews, I probably have the one(s) you're looking for.

I might be up for it. I registered a domain name the other day that I'd like to use for my next project, so this would be a good source of motivation. Feel free to IM me to discuss this further.

I could be up for this, but how do we feel about premium domains?

No premium domains because then it wouldnt be even playing ground otherwise. The idea behind it would be to all start on even playing ground starting from scratch. Who has more skills? Gotta be a nonregistered domain. If you can find a non registered domain that is premium then I guess you have more skills in the domain department, and you can have an advantage because of that.

I'm out then. I have enough domains as is, don't need to reg any new ones.

There is no point in doing the challenge if your going to use a domain name you already have. The playing field would not be even. If an $8 reg fee for a new domain is a deal breaker, then it wasn't probably going to be very tough competition anyways...

Im pretty sure we all have enough domain names already - but that is irrelevant for what I am proposing.

I'm in, interested to hear what exactly a win entails though!

Im very serious about doing this if there are at least 3 people that are down...

We will all agree on what the guidelines and rules are together.

Id like to put up some money, content, links, etc. etc. whatever - I guess everyone involved could put up whatever they want (given that the others involved agree).

Im thinking something like whoever has the site that earns the most within 3 months will win.

Id also like to use this thread, or start a new one - that will kind of document everything and give a case study of the results. I think it would be pretty cool.

Maybe we could get other members of the forum to place side bets on who will win?

Ok, I'm not trying to argue, but I also didn't think I was gonna get a response to me just saying I wasn't interested.

    So, just quickly...

I don't understand this at all. If you start the website on the same date and it's based on success, then why does it matter if you got to buy a domain or if you use one lying around? The only real difference or advantage would be to use premium domains - and even that wouldn't be that big a deal in my opinion.

I can't even wrap my head around this - it doesn't make sense. I don't see how my lack of desire to reg a new $8 domain translates into soft competition. With that said, I'll take my non-premium domain and go head-to-head with your kid/prem domain anytime......I think you just read too much into what I said - but please just read/take this as it is written (my challenge to you).

You haven't proposed much - maybe this is why there have been questions/confusion. This was from your OP:

Anyway, this pretty much lost it's appeal after feeling the need to defend something so minor. Although I apparently don't fit the criteria for your initial challenge, my challenge to you will be there if you ever feel the need to compete... your k.i.d/prem domain versus my non-prem domain (doesn't matter if it's pre reg'd or not )
