PokerNations LLC is in the process of developing “the next big thing” in the poker industry and we’d like YOU to be involved!


WHAT


We’re developing a social network for poker & gambling enthusiasts. What’s that you say? It’s already been done before? We’re aware of the competition, and frankly, not impressed.


We’ll combine deep contacts in the industry with unique marketing and user engagement practices to create a site that will appeal to a huge international demographic. So large that within 4-5 years we anticipate being the most heavily trafficked poker website on the planet!

Currently we have opportunities for individuals and companies interested in sharing in the profits of this new venture. We’re already in discussions with numerous poker professionals/celebrities, industry members and businesses.

*we appreciate that many members may be curious about our ventures methods and unique approaches. I have read the business plan and believe this project has a great chance of success, and brings unique ideas to the market that other sites haven't thought of.

I am investing and think that anyone with doubts should at least give the business plan a read-through before you pass judgement.

I just wanted to post this while I have some time. I have decided to invest in this venture myself after studying the business plan and having several meetings with Anthony. Like many of you my first reaction was "This has been tried before" but after some research and grilling Anthony I began to see the long term potential of this concept and the differences from he venture similiar to this that have tried before and failed.

I would recommend that if you are truly looking for a long term investment, get a copy of the business plan and review all the details. then it Anthony with all your questions and feedback.

I love the idea of some of the most prominent affiliates collaborating on a site like this and I think it has a huge amount of potential. Feel free once you have signed the non-disclosure agreement to hit me up and get my thoughts and opinions.

Anyway, I would def. recommend that anyone capable of investing at least check out the full business plan and give Anthony your feedback.

Partners Update

The following is a list of our current team (in no particular order) that will help execute the success of this project:

President - Anthony Martino

Provides overall direction and execution of company strategies. His main focus is on member engagement and retention practices.

Legal Matters Partner – Randy Layman (aka Ridge)

Provides legal knowledge and research on matters important to company operation & growth

Casino & SEO Partner – Judy Button (aka casinobonusguy)

Provides assistance in working with Casino brands plus SEO strategies and implementation

European Markets Partner – Ian Ross (aka doolallys)

Provides assistance with marketing efforts & strategies in European markets.

Spanish Markets Partner – Moises Alonso Cadierno (aka MAC)

Provides assistance with marketing efforts & strategies in Spanish language markets

Professional Players Partner – TBA

This player will provide assistance in helping us to spread the word on the tournament circuit (and elsewhere) to other professional players and enthusiasts so we can get them using our site.

This player loves our business plan and is 99% sure they will be able to accept the position. Just needs to check with their agent to ensure no conflicts. We should know by early February if this player will be onboard with us.

Project Timeline

Our platform is currently in the early stages of development with beta release in March for investors/partners to begin checking out at www.PokerNations.com

Additional development, customization and design work will continue with a planned public launch in July 2009.

The PokerNations venture is proud to announce the addition of our newest partner, professional poker player Eric “Rizen” Lynch.

Eric has won millions playing poker live and online, and has an excellent reputation in the industry. He also writes regularly for Bluff Magazine and has performed instructing duties with PokerXFactor.

Most recently Eric was seen on the WSOP final table broadcasts in the audience rooting on Darus Suharto, one of the November Nine. Eric provided coaching for Darus to prepare him for the historic final table. Darus won close to $2.5 million for his 6th place finish.

Eric joins us as our Professional Players Partner, and will focus on professional player acquisitions for our network and promotional assistance.

Just a heads-up that Rizen recently put up a blog about his involvement with our venture. You can view it at Rizen Poker but I'm also quoting it here:

I'm involved in a new project currently in development over at www.PokerNations.com We're building a social network (think Myspace/Facebook) for poker players launching later this summer.

I was already aware of other efforts like this, as well as online communities centered around poker enthusiasts. But after reading the business plan for this project I realized they were thinking outside the box, and building a network unlike any existing poker community.

You can swing by the site and get an outline of the project, as well as my involvement on the team that will be developing it. I'm really excited about the potential growth of this community, and hope you'll join when it launches.

PokerNations was recently interviewed for the June/July issue of iGaming Affiliate Business Magazine. This will be distributed to over 5,000 gaming affiliates and operators, and also be available at the Affilicon in Israel June 1st-2nd

PokerNations has a smart and motivated group of people behind it, and I'm confident it will be a great success. But unfortunately I'm heavily involved in many other projects at the same time. Because of this, I haven't been able to participate as much as needed.

I didn't feel that was fair to the other partners for me remain onboard and benefit while not being able to contribute 100%. So, regrettably, I must announce my departure from PokerNations LLC at this juncture. I wish you all the best and can't wait to see the upcoming launch!

It was with great sadness that I accepted Jeremy's withdrawal from the project. He's served as an inspiration, and despite his departure, we'll soldier on and strive to build a true legacy in the industry.

He's got a lot on his plate and has a family to juggle as well, so we wish him all the best in his current and future endeavors.

Aside from that, PokerNations is on track for a launch this August. We've also secured hundreds of professional players and companies within the industry that will come onboard and have their brands and names represented on our network via their own profiles.

We're also working on some interesting partnerships, but I have to keep those hush for the time being.
