Predict the DJIA on December 17th - Win $100

I thought this would be kind of a fun contest to start. Here are the rules.

You have to guess what the closing price of the Dow Jones Industrial Average will be at the bell on December 17th 2008. All guesses must be in by the start of our poker tournament on Wednesday. This makes for 1 full month out.

At the time of this post, the Dow is trading at 8553.06. The winner will be whoever is closest to the price at the closing bell on the 17th.

My guess is 7789.01

Also once someone makes an guess can they change it before kick off or is it solid!

Sure you can change before kick off, but the thread locks at the start of the tournament. And yes, you can go over and win.... This is the U.S. stock market though, probably not going to go over
