Default DaFish is here and ready to learn

    Hi all,

I'm Lee, or DaFish on the forum.

Having done a little work in adult a few years back, and having dropped it for personal reasons, I thought I'd dive in to the poker affiliate game being an avid poker hobbiest.

I think the adult web game has me in decent stead to hit the ground running once I absorb all the differences.

I look forward to having something up in a few weeks for review.

In the meantime, I would like to ask a couple of quick questions:

    a) is Poker Affiliate Solutions the starting point you'd recommend as far as programs goes? I am a little confused in this aspect.....

    b) Are most of your rake sites / landing pages built using a generic html editor such as Dreamweaver, or do you use basic CMS type software?

I guess that's all that's on my mind for now.
Thanks in advance for any help!

    Lee

@ b): Unless people are using the software from the rakeback providers (such as Pokeraffiliatesoluitions), I guess that most here use a free CMS solution. And most of them use Wordpress, some use Joomla.

Welcome fish! If you made money in the adult industry I am pretty sure you can do the same in the poker industry. WordPress is by far the best and easiest solution - especially if it's been a while or you don't have the technical expertise to figure out other CMS. I love WordPress because its free, easy to use, is open source and has a ton of widgets that you can use to solve most problems.
Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward.
