    Default Affiliate without a website?

Atm, a friend of mine (rakes 2k+/month) is looking for a rbdeal for ongame. I was thinking about making an affiliate myself and letting him signup through me.

However, i'm kinda worried about some things:
    1. If i don't find any other players, can the poker room shut my affiliate down?
    2. Is a website req?
    3. Does neteller/MB give information about the acc holder and the bankaccount (a real bank, not internetbank) he sends his money to? (i wanna stay unknown since poker isn't allowed in belgium and has a 90% tax rate + a big fine)
    4. The sites says: 30% commision, that means i get 300$ if my player raked 1000$? There is no tax/administration fee/...?

I might consider creating a site but i don't have any xp with creating sites and designing it. Any suggestions for that?

EDIT: am i allowed to play poker myself through my affiliate?

Most rooms wont care that you dont have a website as long as you are bringing in rake, some rooms let you play through your own link/acc others dont, the best thing for you to do is contact the aff manager of the room you want to sign him up with and address your concerns to him or her. Im sure that all of your worries are unfounded with regards to having your own site, playing through your own link and them closing your account. the 30% however I think there may be deductions from that (bonuses etc) & the neteller/MB thing I wouldnt want to give you a 100% answer on this. With 2k plus rake a month if one ongame room doesnt accomodate you Im sure that another one will. I would make yourself an aff of this guy asap before someone else snaps him up

he gave me his word already and he's my best friend so i'm not really in a hurry since we both have exams next week(s).

So what should i precisely ask to an aff manager? My biggest concern is that they will shut my aff down because i don't find new players.

be honest with them, from my experience they wont care that you only have one player, they will be pleased you are bringing in a good player and if you are unfortunate enough to speak to an AM that does care about this then speak to another & go to a different/smaller room Speak to an AM via MSN or something if possible, maybe start a thread here asking for contact details for an ongame AM

I'm not going to preach to you, but it may be worth it to step back for a second and think about whether or not this is a good idea.

Ongame doesn't allow rakeback, and if I'm understanding your post correctly, poker is illegal where you live.

If you want to be a real friend, have him sign up through an established rakeback provider. That way, if he has issues down the road with the poker room, he has someone to turn to for help. He'll have someone who work with in concert with poker rooms to get him a better deal. You can't provide that. You know nothing of the industry, you don't have contacts, you don't have any leverage. I won't even post the link to my site because I'm convinced you won't go that route. Just making a point that this isn't about your friend getting a deal, it's about you taking advantage of your friend.

    But to anwser your questions:
    1. Poker rooms can shut down any affiliate account for any reason they deem appropriate. If they decided to shut yours down, there's nothing you'll be able to do about it.
    2. No
    3. Your governement could become aware of transactions you make, yes. Do they actively go out and spit out a report to the gov? There is a risk. MB/netteller <> swiss bank account.
    4. There are fees. Fees can vary from room to room. The most obvious is bonuses. When your frien makes a deposit, he can earn a bonus. Part of the bonus he earns is paid for by the affiliate. This applies to re-load bonuses. This can apply to other promotions. Sometimes a room won't even tell you what they deduct, they'll just tell you we're taking $xxx as a deduction, because we can. If you dont' like it, suck it.
