    Default Promoting the majors

Why do alot of non-rakeback sites stay away from promoting sites like FTP at the top of the list or even at all?

Each affiliate has their own list of poker rooms to promote and not to promote.

So why not FullTiltPoker? Why do some of the non-rakeback majors not promote them when they are the easiest to promote?

I guess itīs because we get HUGE deductions on Fulltilt. And it can cost you money to send players there !

If you go back a year or 2, Fulltilt was on top of most affiliate sites, i am sure affiliates have noticed, got pissed and pulled them off.

You would think they would work out a better program after the bigger sites like pokerlistings dropped them from the toplist. Thats crazy.

They have grown big enough to think they donīt need affiliates, they might think that players will signup with them no matter if we promote them or not (lol WRONG).

If they think as above: Then affiliates is only an expensive "thing" they need to get rid of fast. So they make predatory terms and piss us off, some will remove them and some will not, now all the "suckers" are left promoting them.

You can see where itīs going, Pokerstars did buy several large poker portals lately, so they send players to them selves so to speak.

Which ones did they buy? Are you saying it's not profitable to promote FTP?

I am prety sure Pokerstars have paid a unknown amount for PlayWinningPoker.com, PokerPages.com and Poker-Babes.com very recently.

Here is the a post about it:
Poker News Headlines - PokerStars Buy Out Three Poker Blogs | PokerNewsHeadlines.com

So if you promote PokerStars you are competing with their own affiliate sites so ofcourse they donīt like you/us !
