Subdomain vs Country Domain

Yeah they do, and probably the wisest move for them repeat visitors wise for other languages. I would imagine that someone would be more inclined to return to de.pokernews.com as opposed to pokernews.com/de. If the question was solely seo based I would lean towards a folder rather than a subdomain, but for them I think the sub domain or other country extension makes the most sense. It's all about what you are trying to accomplish.

I really want to accomplish a well known brand (sooner or later) where visitors will visit my site over and over. I think a subdomain with the country extension redirect to the subdomain would do that. Everybody seem to have their own view on things. Some are more SEO focused than branding but I was thinking of a combo of both branding and SEO.
