    Default Domain question

Hi i`m new in here and need some help. I have administered some sites, but none of them were registered to my name, so i didn`t had this problem. Please guide me in the right direction.

I have two keywords that need to be in domain name, let`s say these are poker and free. Now perfect domain name would be freepoker.com but it is ofcourse taken.
So i have several options for domain:

    1. pokerfree.me The shortest one, but it is .me
    2. thepokerfree.com It`s .com that should already mean something, but adding the in the beginning is kinda veird if you ask me and free is after poker
    3. realfreepoker.org or truefreepoker.org Adding adjective in front of two keywords and free is before poker
    4. thefreepokersite.com Longest one but it makes sense and it`s .com

I'd avoid the .me and stick to .com, .net or .org

In the other examples you gave I view those as all pretty much equal. None of them are easy to remember or at all sticky and don't see much SEO difference, so whichever you prefer there.

However: My personal preference if needing to jam keywords into a domain is to go with something that actually has some exact match volume. For example I just checked and FREEPOKERPRACTICE.ORG is unregistered (I'd go with that).

Or skip the idea of forcing keywords into the domain and grab something you're excited about building a brand out of.
If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

Some succeed because they are destined to, but most succeed because they are determined to.

If i were you i would go for "free poker" + another word related to that keyword or the poker niche, don't be afraid to try a domain with an hyphen if you are going to optimize it for search engines. I would stick to 3 words maximum and only use country code domain extensions if you plan to target the local market for that country.

You could also register a domain with transposed keywords like "poker free", they seem to rank equally high for popular keywords.

I would choose number two thepokerfree.com. But before you came up with these domain names, did you follow the rules in choosing a domain name? or did you do some research first?

try branding or if you have some money to spend buy a domain with some history. A new domain with keywords that are very competitive will take you a longer time to rank.
