Can you use thunderbird across multiple computers (work, home, mistress, grandmothers etc)? Can they all sync up?
I'm pretty sure it can but I think that has to do with the pop3 and imap settings, doesn't it? I might be wrong.

Use The Bat! I've been using it for like 10 years or so, still alive and kicking. It has anything you can only dream of, well, except automatic coffee serving.
Gmail with Google apps so you can use your own domain. Especially good if you have an Android phone, it auto syncs calendar etc. You can also store mail locally as well, or feed it through another email client like Thunderbird.
I used to use Thunderbird years ago, but it was too buggy. Sounds like it might be worth a look again now?
