When does a site becomes profitable in this market?

When you start getting traffic that's a great sign. When that traffic starts converting that's an even better sign. From there on it's just a question of building on your foundations.

I think 6 months is a reasonable time frame to start making money.

I've made sites that have made money/players within 2 weeks. Although we're only talking low $xxx/month and in uncompetitive niches.

If you don't have much money to invest straight away than I'd say 6 months is a reasonable time frame if you're smart. If you do have money in the $x,xxx+ range than you can make money much sooner - that's if you're starting a brand new site from scratch and not just buying an existing one.

Either way, I can't imagine being able to make a good living (without funds) before 1-2 years.

I would say you know you're heading in the wrong direction if you're not making at least $500-$1k/month after a year of full time affiliating.

This is an impossible question to answer because there is no mention of what's been put into the site, what's being done etc. Any response is a mere guess.

The site in your sig is probably your main one? If so, I heard rumors that Romania is still very much growing as far as poker is concerned. Maybe you know that better than I do, but make sure you rank on the first page for rakeback and you should be able to snatch up on some players. It is hard to make a comfortable living with rakeback in 2011, but it should give you a good side-income within 12 months if you know what you're doing.

btw your font is way too small on that site.
