Default Hi all, new to this, so have few questions

    1. Let's say there is a player that pays a lot of rake, is it okay to try to get better deal for him from the poker site's affiliate manager? Is it allowed to pay him some % out of your own pocket to 'improve' his rb deal?

    2. Is it allowed to have any kind of bonus system, where player get points as he pays rake and then is able to use the points for something (items, cash?).

    3. Is it allowed to tell exactly how good certain ipoker bonus programs are for a player (ie. equavalent rb-percent for NL FR player, for example)?

    4. If it is allowed to give deals to some players; for example are you allowed to have something like this on your site " If you pay XXXX+$ rake/month, contact qwewr@email.com for special deal". (Edited it a bit to make it clearer.)

    5. About rakeback and bonus deals; are they sometimes deducted before calculating the affiliate revenue?

    6. About rakeback; For example if you look this site's Best Poker Affiliate Programs-section, it reads Full Tilt Poker offers rakeback. When you go to their website, there is no mention of the rakeback in affiliate section. Why is that?

Even single answers would be really helpful.

    Thanks,

    Anssi

In general each room has it's own rules, and it is pretty hard

    1. You can always ask your affiliate manager for things like that. The answer you get will depend on the room. Some rooms will probably allow you to pay a player extra rakeback out of your own pocket, but others has a strictly enforced rakeback cap, and will not be happy if you do something like that.

    2. Depends on the room, some allow it others don't. You may want to take a look at this site: PokerSavvy

    3. I don't belive it is, however, ipoker has a history of being somewhat inconsistent when it comes to enforcing the rules about what you can and can't say - just ask your AM, and don't expect a "yes".

    4. If you mean offering deals to players in the chat while playing, it is not allowed. Some forums have special sections for stuff like that, however, most don't and will ban you for posting something like that.

    5. Rakeback and bonuses are pretty much always deducted before you get your cut.

Unknown Webmaster is right every room is different.
If you have a great player you want to work with him clsley and give him support and offer him the best deal posible so he dosnt go looking for it himself and leave. Depending on the room they will allow you to give a player an incentive to stay and play more. so ask your affiliate manager for the 100% correct answer. If its a good AM they will wok with you to help you with giving this player a deal.

    2. Some rooms have this option built in eg Full Tilt but if you are wanting to do this on your own that is a great idea, some rooms will not allow it becasue they dont allow affiliates to give incentives to deposit. So agian ask your AM

    3. Again you have to talk to your AM for the 100% correct answer but there was a discussion a few weeks or so ago about this. As long as you dont mention the word rakeback you should be safe

    4. Depend what you give them and again needs to have the rooms aproval

    5. Most cases bonuses and rakeback are deducted. In our case at Raider Poker no bonuses or rakeback is deducted

    6. Some rooms you have to contact to work out a deal.

I like alot of your ideas and I hope you have good luck with them
