Default Can I sell links yet?

    Hey fellas,

My poker news site has only been live for 2 weeks. It has a few poker news posts on there.

I don't think the site has a pr yet, I'm guessing it's pr0 because only a few links point to my site from digg, reddit, dmoz etc.(for some reason backlink sites arnt showing links pointing to site yet).

I was hoping to offer a service to other affiliates where they can post a poker news article on my site containing 2 links. I'd allow one post a day, 2 links, plus they provide content for a really cheap price.

Is it to early to offer this service to affiliates?

    Thanks

You can offer anything you want. Its up to others to decide whether or not this is something they want to spend their money on imo.

Edit: I think you should be honest and up front though if you do offer it...

I agree with makeitso, any decent webmaster will be able to get all that info anyway, so its not worth hiding anything.

I agree, I was also thinking about the same thing. Even if the website is new, but if it has some potential and you have started on some off page promotion for it then you should be good to go ahead.

If you can find webmasters who want to advertise on your site, then its never too early I guess lol Not sure if it will look suspicious to search engines or not, I guess if the links are relevant and in poker related posts, then you shouldn't get penalized (if that's what your asking).

    Hey mate.
I think that your site is too young. You can sell links, of course, but my advice is to wait to grow a little.

Internet is a free World so you can do whatever you want. But why should somebody buy links from a PR 0 site, even a very good one?
