Default Does anyone have experience with Videos?

I'm new to the affiliate industry. And I'm starting out with my first website, but I have done some research (at least I think I have) about building a "different" site than most other poker sites.

I'm starting out with Poker videos, so users can watch videos on strategy and anything else related to online poker. But my question is: Do they actually convert visitors to money?

I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with videos. I'd appreciate any comments on this.

    Thanks,
    Kirin

Ok, I guess I did not explained myself in the above post. Here is a link to my website, and the poker videos, and strategy videos I have embedded on there. Maybe that can make it easier to understand if you see what I'm trying to do.

All I want feedback on is if anyone has worked with poker videos before, or any other comments about it if possible. I would appreciate and sorry for not explaining myself at the first place.

Please let me know if I'm still being confusing.

    Thanks,
    Kirin

It's an interesting market. There are some positives and some negatives to it though. The big negative to this market is the fact that all of you content is video based so it's very hard to get google traffic. The opposite is the positive though. Since your content is so much more engaging, you'll be able to get a lot more word of mouth visitors.

It's tough to be in the free video market because each video takes so much time and it's rare to get a conversion from a video alone. You need to work extra hard to make sure you get players on your site and then converting or you'll be doing a lot of work with no direct monetary gain.

There are a lot of people out there looking for poker strategy and if you can connect with them, video is a great way to teach. So if you can build trust through your videos, you'll get plenty of return visitors.

    Good luck with your site.

    Trikkur,
Thank you for your reply and comments. I understand that most of my content is video based and it might not be the optimal solution for SEO purposes. I'm trying to figure out a way to improve the site's SEO. Maybe writing articles about video strategies might be one way to do that.

I just want to do something "different" so I can start seeing some success in the affiliate industry. As I said, I'm new to this, and I'm just experiencing and figuring out what is the best thing to do to succeed.

Please let me know if you have any other comments.

    Thanks again,
    Kirin
