    I'm new here in this forum, and I would like to contribute here.

    For me, I think it's better you need both "better and more". If you have lots of better quality backlinks, for sure it helps boost your website on the Google SERPs and traffic as well. But if you link to low quality crap sources, then it's not really worth it.

    It's just my advice as a new member here. Cheers!
