Poker Affiliate account is blocked

Hello Everyone.

My affiliate account was blocked and I really need your advice about this situation. Everything started when a player wanted to have a better deal on the site and he asked if i can give him % from my commissions. I talked to PokerManager and he said that its alright if i give small cut of the comissions. So i told to the player that he can have it and on the next day my affiliate account was blocked. I emailed to poker affiliate support and they said that rakeback is not allowed. I do not understand why poker manager said that its ok if i give a cut to my player.

My account is still blocked and they also freezed my money there, they are not going to pay me for last month.

Can you please give me advice what to do in this situation ?

I offered to the player cut from my affiliate % only because manager said thats its ok if i give him. Now i understand that it was my mistake and i wish to return back my affiliate account! We learn from the mistakes and now i know what i will say to the player in future. Im not going to talk about rakeback anymore.

Very surprising that you were told that this was ok, and if he was really an affiliate manager I'd like to know who it was. I don't think I'm going to continue doing any deals with ongame if these things are going to be ok'd in public. As far as I know these things are written in the Terms of service / affiliate agreement as well so I doubt you can claim your money here.

When you say "PokerManager" are you referring to the poker room manager (that players deal with) or are you referring to your affiliate manager that you (as an affiliate) deal with?

Affiliate disputes are always an uphill battle and few get made public. Some programs suck, others have don't make good on word for CPA deals, others discriminate against players from certain countries, etc. there is very little support nor do other affiliates care about the issues so it usually goes unnoticed. In your case we don't have that issue here. You broke the rules, have admitted this, but still want to paid based on claiming it was a mistake.

So the first question: Do you have proof this poker manager told you this? (if not: a lesson here is to always communicate via email).

If you don't have this - then it's still an uphill battle either way. But at the point you're near certain you won't be paid. Your best angle it to present a case here and other affiliate forums that this site cheated you, and you're not someone that abused their program. This should include marketing methods, ideally a website, time period you worked for the site, players referred etc. (Don't give up proprietary stuff that will hurt your site - but build a case that you're not just someone who made money spamming or giving a few friends rakeback where it was not allowed). If your case is presented well enough atleast you can be assured GFPC will remind everyone forever that they are cheats and cost them the PR. This doesn't get you paid though. In some cases though it becomes clear once the case is presented a mistake was made, the program comes forward addresses the situation and gets it resolved. Without a detailed case presented I have no idea where you're at - but that's my advice anways. If you have proof someone told you it was allowed save discussing any further at that point someone should ping a rep to this thread and make sure someone is addressing and rectifying the mistake and that punishment fits the crime and this isn't a case of a site stealing over a mistake. Good luck but do note these disputes are generally tough.

Mr-AJ: Looks like the player is working for ongame network and he is asking all affiliate about rakeback. The affiliates who dont know about rakeback rules, could be banned.

Laurence: I dont want to call his name right now. Im waiting the email from him. If he will refuse to open my account or he will not pay my money, i will tell you his name!

Shay: I was talking with a guy, who is working in this company.

pokerprop: YES, i have skype chat history with this player and also with affiliate manager! Im waiting for their email, if everything go wrong, i will post here this skype history.

One more thing i did not like, is that this manager deleted me from his skype and did not say nothing about the blocked account. I did not receive the email where they were warning me or something like that. They just closed the account and ignore all my live chat messages. I think he could explain me everything and warn me too.

Btw this manager said that i was offering 60% rakeback.. All i said is that if this guy will play well, he can get 40% valueback (from ongame) + he can win rake race, where the first place is 7500$. So all this promos can bring him up to 60% rakeback. You all know, that there is no such commissions in ongame network, so its impossible to give 60% fixed rakeback. I dont know why this guy lie to them.

I also wanted to get screenshots from Affiliate Manager, to see where i was talking about 60% rakeback.

Sad thing is that i have good players there and they making good money for this site....! But i have 0$ for all my job!
