Just wondering a few things as I've browsed the forums here:

Is it worth to promote/sell poker products? For example, I have an amazon acct and could try to sell books, dvds, etc... Anyone have an opinion or experience?

Also, I've heard of other casino affiliate programs...not all online ( I think ) is this possible and how do you go about signing up or become qualified?

Other than online poker rooms, what else is good to get into? I'd like to stick to poker or other casino games if possible.

What else works well? Does anyone do affiliate work for other hobbies or products as well? Thanks

In my opinion selling products i.e. chip sets, books, dvd's is not such a great idea, most players have these things by now, It does work but your taking up space that could be filled with quality content and affiliate links.

I once put some golfing affiliate banners up which did work remarkably well.

My advice is stick to what the site is about 100%, people come there for a reason so you have to give them exactly what they are looking for.

instead of selling through amazon and ebay you could consider affiliating with online poker tools, players are always interested in these products

You asked about hobbies - I have sites on hobbies from anything to wakeboarding, budget tips, muscle building, our vacation town in Florida, speedboat safety, and pole dancing poles - build sites around anything that interests you.
