    Default Whats wrong here?

I have this rakeback site i have been working alot on, but i havent seen a signup for a month.
The traffic is not especially exiting, and i dont get it since i have alot of content and incoming links.

    Is it the design?

I think its a pretty "authority" look, but what do you think.

    What am i missing here?

Do i just need to be more patience,

This may be blunt but I find that's the best way, my first impressions:

    - 'What on earth is this site about?'
    - I wasn't keen on the black background, had my guard up instantly
    - The blocks of text look randomly placed all over the page and I've no idea where to look first
    - I saw no poker room logos or anything recognisable
    - I saw no percentages or bonuses or calls to action
    - Navigation / structure wasn't obvious so I instantly felt lost
    - Links are the same colour and style as some headings, there's multiple instances of large post dates down the page which is confusing and creates more clutter.

I hope you can see where I'm coming from, got my tinfoil hat ready

    @ Nirva......

    Correct, correct and correct :-)

Was just chatting with Jacob and that made me realize that the navigation and information there is terrible.

I already have some ideas on how to turn it around, and i will keep you posted.

    Thx for your suggestions.

    Nirva is spot on

I'm thinking that you could do something like this.
    - Static front page
    - List of 3 best offers with stars indicating the best.
    - Navigation with names of rooms and percentages.

Alot of changes has been made, and i would appresiate all comments.

There are still some reviews missing, but apart from that the site is finished.

    Here are my garbled throughts.

Fix the titles on all the pages - a lot of them are just "rakebackdeal >> rakebackdeal".

I would change the navigation, so there are a seperate "block" for the rakeback deals. It seems kind of weird to me that the rakeback offers are grouped together with your other pages.

I would also add some percentages to the navigation links - I can't remember a rakeback site that doesn't do that, so I'm fairly sure that this is a "must do".

I would probably also make the font for the navigation links a little bit bigger - I had to focus just a little bit extra to read them. Don't worry about some of them maybe

I'm not sure that having "rakebackdeal" in the navigation that many times are beneficial.

You can do this by using "links" in Wordpress - It is basically the same thing you do when creating your blogroll.

I would change the email address on the front page to an image instead of text to avoid spam (both on email and MSN).

Add something very visible that tell people what "the best rakeback deal" is, og list the "top 3 rakeback deals". People looking for "rakeback deal" probably don't know which room they want to sign up at.

I would highlight that each month you are giving away 100.000$ to your player

I think we already spoke about this, but just in case I forgot to tell you I'm writing it here.

    - I would move the rake race advertisment to where the PayNoRake ad is now (top of right navigation bar) and either animate it, or make 100.000$ free a different color of the rest of the text. Adding the word "exclusive" would probably be beneficial too.

    - I would move the top 3 rakeback deals to the very top of the page, where the rake race advertisment currently are. I would also spend a lot of time thinking about how to best incorporate call-to-actions for those 3 rooms (or maybe just the best one).

Maybe presenting them as "best rakeback deal" and 2 runner ups.
