Default New Site Review Request - Ultimate Poker Search

    Hey guys,

Got a website launching later this week that is in final beta stage, and I'd like some feedback on it please

Target market is players looking for a poker room, whether it be new players or players looking for a change, and want to find a site to match their needs.

Before launch still got work to do obviously, so the site isn't complete yet. However most work is basically SEO, adding more content(at least 10-15 reviews up by launch), verifying data etc, and a couple of tweaks here and there design/content wise. So the functionality of the site is mainly complete.

Any feedback is appreciated, both from an affiliate and player point of view.

    Thanks URL below:

    Great Idea!
I like it.. Easy to read and navigate.
Only thing I would change is Logo. needs to be more poker related. (I think)

HAHA pretty funny, i was thinking about creating a site like that a few days ago.
Great idea, and im sure visitors will love it.
One thing i would like to see as a player visiting, is the option to find specific games like sites that have heads up tournaments etc.

great site and a great idea Dan.

i really cant find anything wrong with it.

just one thing you could add though is the payment option - UKash, many people in the u.k prefer rooms which accept this payment method

Hey - That was my idea (props for figuring out how to do it well)

Consider adding a "license locating" checkbox - This mattes very much to a lot of European players.

I would also reeeeally like the ability to sort by network and whether or not the room is supported by Pokertracker 3/Holdem Manager. Those things may not bring you that many players who will sign up through you, but I feel like it is something that "should be there".

The place where search matches gets shown needs spaces between the the list of matches. I would implement it by adding a space before each keyword. It would probably look something like this:
    Code:
    for each(
    print(" "+"keywordX)
    X+1)
    )

As Newjabber said, it's simple and clean. I do think down the road it could be improved upon though. I ran a contest at 99designs but wasn't happy with the submissions - but I think I will revisit that in a month or so and see if I can get it spiced up a bit.

Yeah I'm probably going to add something like that down the road too. I wanted to get the "basics" down first, then I'll get into stuff like that, and also allow people to see best rooms traffic-wise etc for the games they want.

Added license to the to do list. And thanks for pointing out the search matches issue - one of those things where I looked over the site 50 or 60 times with a fine toothcomb, but failed to notice that Fixed now.

    Thanks all
