Exclamation All opinions are welcomed ! Please Comment

    Hello,
I am trying to decide which poker site to affiliate with. I was wondering what other affiliates feel is the most important criteria in choosing a poker site to become an affiliate with. Examples may be, CPA payout, rev. share %, established poker room, new poker room, large player base, medium to small player base, promotional offers to the affiliates use, etc. I am aware of the different deals that poker sites offer. I am basically just wondering what criteria others have based their decisions on. Thanks and I look forward to hearing your opinions.

I like to go with poker rooms that have dedicated Affiliate Managers and nice backends. I also go with personal preference from my poker-playing days. If I like a poker site, it's easy to promote.

Established poker sites have a high player value but a lot of players already have accounts there.

Smaller poker sites can get signups too but players are often turned off by the lack of traffic either before they sign up or after.

With unestablished poker rooms, I would go after a CPA deal. It's safer for you that way.

You should go with a few rooms, though. Why limit yourself? If someone already has an account at Site A, maybe you can get them at Site B.

My most profitable poker room is PokerStars, which is a CPA plan.
Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward.

    Sucker,

Whoever you go with at the end you shoudl be comfortable with the decision. Make sure you would be willing to play there and then evaluate all your criteria and its importance to you.

In the end, you shoudl test numerous sites as some will work better than others on your site.

Thanks for your input guys. I think I am going to try and find a newer poker room, which has a decent number of players. Im prolly just going to download the cardroom and check the traffic at different times. Maybe a new cardroom on an established network.

You may want to have a look at www.pokersitescout.com for the traffic.
