I don't defend this guy but please note that this is an international forum.
I am not fluent english too and probably I make some grammar mistakes but this is prove nothing.

Try say something grammar correctly in my language and I will buy you a big beer ;-)

I am currently adding 10 articles and getting 15 site reviews type up as we speak. I hired an SEO company and doesn't look like they have done much in a month except make some post of digg.

There are a lot of SEO techniques that you can do for free and wouldn't require an SEO company. Submitting to directories, links from friends poker sites etc.

I wouldn't hire a consulting company for SEO without having a basic understanding of what good vs bad SEO is. There are too many companies that claim to do SEO that just don't do anything.

Maybe you want to contact companies for an analysis and SEO plan to get a better idea of what they will do or if they will just tell you what you can do to obtain higher rankings.

This way you can learn SEO for yourself and not have to rely on a company forever to do it. It might pay off more in the long run to go that route.

Didn't they do a review of your site? Have you discussed strategy with them? Even if they feel you need to do some work on your side, they should be communicating with you, offering advice, etc.
