How long did it take before you started earning?

So we've finally lunched our new poker affiliate site and I hope it will be good. We've worked hard on it and now comes the SEO part, trying to make it more "visible" to the visitors looking for poker.

My question to you if I may is, how long did it take you guys from the moment you've lunched your site to the moment you started earning something?

Also, I would love your ideas, comments, tips and so on about our new site.

Hey Nir,

You have a great start to that site. It's well organized and looks clean. I would focus on separating your pages a bit more so you can target keywords more effectively. For example, on View on Poker - No Limit, Fixed Limit and Pot Limit Texas Hold'em Rules, why not divide that into 3 different articles, each focusing on their own rules, No Limit, Fixed Limit, Pot Limit. That way you can have a more focused page keyword-wise for each of those phrases.

In terms of earning, I would say the typical that I hear over and over is about 3-5 months. Some start earning in the first couple months and some take 8-10 months so it varies.

It took like maybe 2 month to get my first CPA when i first started.
This was on a swedish site so its a bit easier then english one's.

Thank you for your kind words and compliments. I must say I was moved, it really means a lot to me and my friends who worked hard on this site to hear some good words on it, knowing you have much more knowledge and experience, means we're on the right track with this site.

As for you advice and tip, we'll take it under consideration, it does make sense and we'll see maybe we'll follow by that direction.

Well, I did read that the first year might be a struggle for new affiliates once we started this site and dove into this business, I really do hope we would make some good money out of it and provide good info for people.
