Default Full Tilt - does it make sense to offer rakeback?

Hi - I just learned that a new affiliate gets 20% MGR when not offering rakeback at Full Tilt Poker. If I want to offer rakeback, I would only get 8% MGR (and the client would get 27% RB).

Does it really make sense to offer rakeback then?
Will I be able to aquire customers without rakeback, and offer new customers at a later stage rakeback (e.g. with a new tracker)?

You can allready offer rakeback acting as a subaffiliate.

It makes sense to offer rakeback if you manage to get good players who generate a lot of rake.

Like dirkjan said, I think you can offer rakeback at a later stage through a sub affiliate deal.

    Hope this helps

Thank you! So it is possible to sign up directly at FTP, offering no rakeback, and then to open a new affiliate account at a sub-affiliate and get a RB offer there (with the same name and bank account)?

    Default hi

Hi mi site is almost finished and i have a couple of mid stakes grinders who would be willing to make accounts on FT via my site.I see you are talking about 27% but i contacted FT and they are willing to give me only 20%.I have long time plans for my site(its not bonus only site) so i would accept 30% or even 27% so that i wold be even at the end of the month. What can i do>And from youre experience does it matter that my site is not just a plain bonus site, but very nicely designed site....
    Thanks

    P.S

I wish i found youre forum earlier....

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not willing to work for 8%.

It's actually 8% at best Randy, very few will get 8% ever. I'd personally reccomend CPA if not giving the best available deal which is rakeback, in case of how many players at FT get upset about not having rakeback I'd probably just opt for rakeback.

Id go with whatever is best long term but keep in mind if you stop promoting I think fulltilt can take your players unless that has changed back. Total BS too

I think I'll start without rakeback-offerings, as the MGR is only very low and as there is a risk that most visitors will then subscribe at rooms with RB.

Is it possible to sign up directly at FTP, offering no rakeback, and then to open a new affiliate account at a sub-affiliate and get a RB offer to promote from there (again under my name)?
