Feedback on first video

So after adding voice to this first video like a million times, i think im close to something good enough to share.
I would love some comments on my commentry style and the quality of the video.
Is there something im leaving out? Should i go into more details?
There will be a few more videos added today.

I think that it is an excellent video, quality wise and your voice narrative, while slightly accented, is solid as well.

PS (unrelated/offtrack) - For some reason your accent reminded me of this scene on Family guy (fast forward to 50 seconds). Seriously though, it's an excellent video IMO and it's a non-US room so the accent doesn't matter anyway. I wish I knew how to make videos

I think you can get more people to watch it if you spend the first seconds of the video explaining what benefits people will get from watching the video.

Basically just something like this

"Hi, this is XXX from YYYYYY. In this video I'm going to show you how you can go deeper in tournaments, and as a result make a whole lot of money."

After that you could then go on explaining all the other stuff, since the viewer now knows why they should bother watching the video

Yes i expect that and i also make it very clear that there are many different strategies and approaches.
I actually have thought about that today, and the subject will be well covered in some of the coming videos from the tournament where i start to play extremly tight and there is a long wait between playing hands.
I will use those spaces to talk about strategy and odds etc.
I will go deeper in details in the next ones, still just getting used to adding voice etc.
Dident expect it to be so time consuming, but its good fun and really make me think about every hand.

Ok. Not too bad at all. I like your accent and you come across as knowledgeable. There is stiff competition in the poker video market, so you may have difficulties making in-roads using your current format.

Here are some recommendations:

Use Youtube as your first choice. Better delivery and embed size options. Check the sizing and visuals of this one I recently posted: YouTube - Dealing with Aggressive Poker Players

Jump right into the action at the start of the video. Poker viewers will figure it out as you go along, but if you have something really interesting right in the first 30-60 seconds, you stand a much better chance of viewers sticking around. You can fill in details later on.

I would also NOT do a real session here > they can get boring. I would pick specific hands and make your call-to-action to see the full video by signing up at your site.

Zoom and Pans - this video is too small and you need to zoom in and out for better visual action.

You have good information here, but viewer attention is really sensitive, so even though you are providing something here, your fall off rate will be too high I am afraid.

Ive thought quite alot about this.
I think that some would like to see action hands all the time, but on the other hand i also think that some enjoy watching a more detailed video.

I like the video because the commentary is suitable for beginning players I think some poker videos make the mistake of talking about topics which are too advanced for new players. The one problem I found was it was difficult seeing what cards were dealt on the board.

Great advice in this thread too, and I agree with all of it. Outline the benefits straight away in the video so viewers know what to expect. And videos which talk about specific hands are a lot more interesting, I don't think you can expect viewers to watch a full session unless they know you on a personal level.

For a first video though I think its very good. I was interested to see the video because I have never played on PKR, I think I will have to now.

Personally I would host the video myself and have it appear larger and with lightbox or similar.

I can see the attraction of hosting on Youtube = bigger market - but self hosted will look and run much better.

Maybe its just our broadband down under but there's no way in hell I'm waiting for each video to download 10 seconds......pause.......wait longer......play a little bit........spinny fkn thing......play a little more......pause......

like they do on Youtube - fk that - better things to do with my time.
