Only as part of an exisiting sports betting site.

Lots of clicks but very few sales - and at 7% commission on sales value it simply was not paying it's way as an advertising stream.

I'd have been better off withy a google ad words spot ...

before ebay affiliate program became shitty, i sold sports tickets through ebay for some really easy $$. Ebay went to shit and google stopped ranking 'phpbay' sites so we converted most of them over to some ticket affs through cj and shareasale with weak results so far, but hardly any effort other than adding a link / image on the tickets page.

Buying tickets on presales, lotteries etc then selling them on stub hub is about as easy money as you can get so long as your smart enough to avoid greed and list at lowest before demand runs out, don't eat tickets and this is very easy money.

just to update this... have been having success with the ticket programs in cj compared to ebay. a few small changes to the baseball ticket site turned a site using ebay making maybe $40 / month into about 8x that amount by changing it up a little and adding links to ticketnetwork mostly.
